i saw that...but you must put it in context. PVI always is higher than normal during expiration week, and due to the time period it includes (10-day ma of put vol) it always plunges post expiration. it really only becomes valuable as an indicator in the period beginning 10 days after expiration until the next expiration week. actually the post expiration drop-off is usually larger than it has been this time around.
