I think that OG is right that there is a lag to the effect from rate hikes. I believe that the last numbers that came out were very benevolent on the inflation front which demonstrates that the hikes are working. I think that this last hike show in the numbers for a month or two. It's like driving in snow. If you go into a skid, it is very important to not overcorrect.

Don't get me wrong, I think that the market needed to cool off, but I think that the fed has overcorrected at this point.
