Dear Scumbria:

GB knew that this should have been solved by the Europeans. We have yet to leave this swamp so the final cost is not yet known. It can still "Blow Up Into Our Faces". How much has this operation cost us? I wonder if you have stopped and really looked at the cost in spare parts, weapons (Smart Munitions cost a lot of money), personel (many military people are leaving due to the high deployment rates (A service person does not need to be killed or wounded to be lost to the Armed Forces)), and Military Readiness.

Also Clinton stood by as well during Rwanda. Remember that massacre? He has promised to get us out of these places but we are still there. He has continuously deployed us in one place or another during most of his tenure. This is after he pontificated during the 92 campaigns against this very behavior. Would you say he lied to you, who voted for him, too?

The torture is yours to receive.

Let us take this private as we are getting way off topic, although the environment (in all ways) can cause major changes in AMD's stock price.

Pete

Re: Remember Sarajevo?

Another myth of Clinton policy success. The reality was that Bosnian Serbs were defeated by regular Croatian army that invaded Bosnia. This was while Clinton policy was to enforce arms embargo of Croatia. Anyway, Croatian army was so successful that it was a rout, complete victory in a very short time. US peacekeepers showed up after the fact.

but ultimately Clinton bombed the Serbs into compliance

As far as Bosnia is concerned, your statement shows a complete lack of understanding of the situation there, which is understandable for someone who depends on information dispensed by the major US media.

If Clinton policy was fully enforced, Bosnian Serbs, Muslims and Croats would still be running around murdering each other.

Joe
