Mom is one of those people that actually uses her boat. Last summer she spent the summer on the boat at Avalon and making friends with all of the locals. Rumor has it that she is torn between another summer in Catalina and her Grandson.

Mr. Smithee used to keep a boat at the Berkeley marina. But that was many, many years ago.
