hi tp, csco has indeed been bucking the trend lately. I want to note, though, that at numerous times during the trading sessions CSCO has been pummeled relative to even a weak NDX and COMPX. If selling volume had not dissipated (it's all coming in the mornings), shorts had not covered and a little real buying volume occurred the CSCO drubbing would be ongoing.

I would not be confident in the least that the last two days have signaled any meaningful break in csco's downward trend and recent relative underperformance. Although, again you are correct, csco has temporally outperformed based on closing prices alone. I find it hard to accept the position that CSCO is showing strength when it's volatility has been astronomical and it's intraday trading range has been so wide the last two days. CSCO is acting like much weaker stock than a "gorilla" should, IMO. It's being knocked around like a 90 lb. weakling. COMPX of 2000 is not unheard of as a bottom target. I can see 2500 without using too much imagination. CSCO could easilly be 35 with COMPX at 2500.

BTW, that was $35 per share, although $25 would be a looking more like a bargain. <g>
