rkd, Keep in mind that MACD is an indicator that works on the relationship between 3, not 2, exponential moving averages: usually, the difference between the 26 and 12 day EMA's, and then a 9EMA as the signal line. This gives it great value as a trend indicator, but not much value, for our purposes, as a trend-reversal indicator. But your comments are welcome. Right now, the present system is working so incredibly, overwhelmingly, well that I am reluctant to look at any suggested improvements. I think, for now, we (and I stresss "we", because this has really been a collective effort) have optimized the system about as much as it can handle... TC.
