When on your back facing the blanket that covers your face, We kick and scream, to the day, to the night, who is to say this mortal coil we experience isn't only vision planted long ago. So silence on, we trudge in steps set many years before, and then to open your eyes, the sight you see, only to realize that the blanket covering your face is but the midnight sky. And in angry torment we shout at the stars, to be heard by the Gods who forgot about us long before we even existed. Cck
