Larry, for what it's worth, my son has designed an entirely different approach for determining short term direction of a stock, based on an application of the Kalman filter. Running data on SNDK through his system gives an entirely different result from the conclusions in your HAL program. This tells me that probably neither system is very good for anything other than very short term projections, but my son's system, under several controlled tests, with trades limited to only a modest risk level, has consistently produced profits (after all costs) averaging about 60 percent per month.

Larry, I hope Hal is wrong.

I thought you were going to say that there was a red light on the top of Hal that was blinking "SNDK dreadfully oversold". We did 4 million shares in volume yesterday. I have no idea who would be selling this kind of volume at this price. It boggles the mind.

Let me know when Hal's $44 3/16 buy order fills. I won't hold my breath.
