Chung Lee:

Re: "Don't see nothing wrong with your estimates, Athlons sold out thru June 30, T-bird starts appearing in mid June, MB and chipsets commitment firming and starting Q3 July Tbirds will be in full volume, AMD is probably stock piling Durons and Tbirds right now since Athlon wafer starts had stopped few weeks back. Is that what you see?"

Comment: As Mr. Sanders has stated...flash sold out into 2001...Athlon production in Q1 through Q4 respectively of 1.2, 1.8, 3.6 and 7.2 million units (i.e 14 million units...minimum, imho)...As well, Mr. Sanders has stated that Duron and T-bird performance, in baseball analogy, are equivalent to grand slams...Just as AMD appreciated rapidly from $20 to its current level when the Athlon became available in the retail channel (i.e the consumer could touch and test it), one can expect another major price surge (to $150???) when the Duron and T-Bird can be touched and tested in the retail channel if (and I have no cause for disbelief) the Duron and T-Bird come anywhere close to performing at the "grand slam" level!
