<I wonder if Lloyd's of London offers family hysteria insurance?>

This is just too funny. WHAT a good joke. Thanks for thinking it up.

Family Hysteria Insurance..lol
When I was a juvenile probation officer, I worked with a case of folie a deux, the only diagnosed one I ever encountered. A couple with a teenage daughter had created an entire delusional world for themselves- full of conspiracies and intrigue, with the law, the police, out to get them, taking over the mind of their daughter, spying on them with infrared devices, tapping their phones. The thing was they were just "normal" people- there was no reason for any of this to be happening. But it was amazingly convincing. I was very young- just out of college- and luckily the court psychologist picked up on it and kept me from being sucked in. It's very easy to do- because truth and reality are woven in so cleverly with the insanity it becomes impossible to know where one starts and one leaves off.
There are times when I wonder what is real and what isn't in the Elian drama, and just how we are to sort through it all. That's why I don't believe we should ever stop listening to all the stories and viewpoints.
(It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it--- I think that might be Aristotle!?)
