chic,

re:"I will be in complete disbelief if AMD is not at $200 by January expiration."

I would be quite surprised if we get remotely close to $200 by Jan.

regards,

Kash

All,

I think that AMD is trading lower due to a belief that the cost of teaming to build a $1.3 billion FLASH fab will deplete cash and limit earnings until it is shipping in volume in 2002 -- by which time we may again be in an over-supply condition. I share this concern.

I don't see an official press release from AMD. I hope they can clear this issue up.

Pravin.

As much as I hope you are right, and, as an original Kamkaz boys on this thread and still remains so, I am in complete shiver when I read your bullish prediction in such absolute term.

I am an optimistic bear for the moment.

Chic <I will be in complete disbelief if AMD is not at $200 by January expiration.>

A lot of disbelievers on this thread. I agree though. January expiration is after two more reportings and coming up on a potentially banner 4th quarter. This is contingent on NAZ rebounding to mid 4000's - and the new status quo in the AMD/INTC saga.
