Seriously though, Fundie Analysis at least "sounds" mentally stable. Compared to Cycles, Lunar patterns, Chart patterns and such. At a party you can talk Earnings and people listen politely. Tell 'em about a H&S Top and they change the subject to Hillary Clinton or the troubles in the Congo.

Yeah, right, until you talk about multiples of operating cash flow, enterprise value, accounting under pooling of interests, relative P/Es, or EVA. Then watch the eyes glaze over. The next comment is something on the order of, "So how about those Mets?" LOL!

So here is some fundamental info for you: All across the country, it's as though the economy just skidded to a halt. Nucor is dropping prices. Housing has stopped dead in the water. Company after company seems to be discovering inventories that are higher than expected. If containerboard starts to weaken, it will indicate more than a blip.

Quote for the day:

It's certain that fine women eat
A crazy salad with their meat
Whereby the horn of plenty is undone

--William Butler Yeats
