I don't know about the resignations, but your larger point is well-taken, they each get one vote, including Greenspan, is my understanding. I guess I've got a longer memory, or something, but run-away inflation isn't something to laugh off. Everyone is screaming about the price of gasoline and heating oil now, and some people are screaming about the price of houses, depending on the market. That ought to be a wake-up call for what could be in store. People on fixed incomes really get whacked. (Government employees, retirees, welfare recipients.) Retirees will have to move in with their kids, that should get someone's attention.
