Anyone know the p/e of the nasdaq or where I can find it?
It really looks like the market is quickly going through the discounting process of a slowing economy and higher rates resulting in significant p/e shrinkage. I suspect that while there may be short term bounces, this discounting is far from over. I expect another rate increase next month based on ppi figures and strong home sales. Just as the market quickly skyrocketed on the no inflation and infinite growth scenario propagated by investment houses with absurd targets for ipos, it is quickly adjusting to reality. Shiller is right, Fleckenstein is right, Buffett is right. Rukeyser canned Dudack, a voice of reason and the only bear on wsw, at the market peak.

All imo.

Not really, eh bill ? I got out of NDX -100 when it fell to 3105 (I had got in at 3098). But got back in again when it hit 3035. For a second (literally !) I thought that was wise, doesn't look like. It is now at 2980!

If this isn't a bear, I haven't seen one...
