Sunspot, that is incorrect. If Win2K knows about the device (it looks up the ID in its database), it installs the drivers automatically if you the search paths (which include the install point) have the drivers. Upgrading the driver model is a good decision for mobile users and for desktop users. 1394, USB are supported very well using the new driver model. Obviously you haven't used any of the pluggable devices, otherwise you would notice the improvements.

WRT 2 administrators logging on remotely to the same server, it doesn't matter if both are prompted, one of them should fail gracefully. Also, I am not sure if remote administrators will see the prompts.

Again, everybody including me has complaints about the changes to driver models, UI etc. But, once I really use the new features, I wonder how I put up with the old versions...
