Perhaps by close today, people who think the cycle has peaked because they misunderstood contents of the ratio will be out, and it will be time to start buying.

If numerator ever declines, then I will be worried. Increase in denominator can be due to statistical stuff about actual content of what is 'billed', accounting stuff related to rule 101 that is about to be sprung, etc. Denominator increased faster than numerator did, thus lowering the ratio. So? Next month it could just as well decrease. Anyone know of a math function of book to bill that abstracts from this? It could be that rule 101 will make book to bill disappear as an indicator.

If I am the one who has misunderstood the ratio, I would be happy to be corrected. Thanks in advance.
