I'm not a big chartist, but if we close [spx] down a % again today I can't see how a rally starts... then asia down, then europe down and we get the virtuous circle going, so closing up today seems critical to me.

NASDAQ got a little past the top line, but not enough to get excited about. However, that last rise on SPX came right up to the top line -- it wasn't a breakout. They're really milking it. Still watching and waiting, but my bet is that They didn't do all that work yesterday and today just to let it dump.
