LG, normally it should have happened already...after all, the Fed funds rate has been boosted by 175 bps. from the '98 low. perhaps the market has just stored the energy for a bigger downturn in the future...one more set of disquieting inflation data might do the trick. however, it is extremely difficult with the BLS's methodology to actually get disquieting inflation data, even though prices might be rising.<g> regards, hb
