Greg and Thread,

I happened to be near a TV mid-morning today, and I noticed two interesting points.

1. Somebody or somebodies seem to be accumulating Sandisk. I saw two large trades--of 50k and 45k--cross in the space of 15 minutes.

2. The "technology" segment on CNBC reported on the AMD-Samsung deal. As someone else mentioned, Sandisk was not included among the 8 producers of flash memory that were listed. I grant that the reporter did not do his homework. But it's always easy to blame the press. In this case, I reiterate my oft-stated position that Sandisk is not communicating effectively. As the leader in its field, there is no justification for the financial reporters not being aware of Sandisk.

Please forgive me if I point this out too often. I'm in public relations and I can't help noticing publicity failings.

Jim

I knew there was a reason we were so strong until the market just tanked and the bids disappeared late in the day. The report is accurate. People picking up shares at these prices are getting a real bargain.
