Good morning Y2K, If you liked that US News & World Report story I posted, you will definitely get a kick out of this post, which I did a month ago. Message 13476375 At that same time I also posted here, commenting that in the short term, "they" wouldn't stop until the NASDAQ hit 3200 - 3400. The NASDAQ was rallying on low volume back to 3800 at the time. Sadly, I was able to make these predictions despite the "big lies" you keep hearing on TV and magazines. My 3 favorite lies are: 1. No signs of inflation / tech sector is immune to interest rate hikes (technology requires TONS of up-front investment, not to mention is quite risky) 2. $24 per barrel is unsustainable (despite the fact that these same people were saying there are no signs the economy is slowing down). 3. Buy and hold forever Lie 1 was created to keep you buying while they were selling Lie 2 was created to keep you from buying so they could. Lie 3 ..... wellll if it's true, they why do mutual fund managers buy and sell like crazy every day ? Wall Street is a fun place once you get to know it, huh ? Regards, Chris
