I am absolutely stunned.

Me too. I sure figured we would get a bounce this morning but it didn't happen. We are in for some deep @#$% now. Think we may start seeing the panic selling.

No kidding - amazing. I decided to hold my QQQ puts into tomorrow. I actually let go of 25% of the position about a half hour before the close - wish I hadn't... but tomorrow's another day.

Looks like the thing to be doing is going short on the intraday spikes and selling and going long on the dips. The biggest dip today was the selling going away. Yes, stunned is a good word.

Gee whiz, did'nt one of you guys argue with me constantly a while back that CSCO would not see today's level in our lifetimes or something like that, while I said I would wait for a better buying opportunity? Well how about that. Where is the bullish overconfidence now??? Yogi

Hey law, Monty, Gary (all you stunned).

I don't see why this was stunning. The chartist on the street (Gary B) mentioned NAS 2400 less than 2 weeks ago. The NAS is still (at the moment) above 3100. We are in a very negative cycle (matched only by the wildly optimistic one a couple of months ago) that I think in the long run will be very healthy. I hope so. I hope not too many people lose there jobs and savings because of this (yes, I know the .coms will lose LOTS of jobs). I hope many of you didn't decide in March to pile into tech because it would never fall and you were tired of seeing other people get rich.

12 months ago, CSCO was at 28. Now it's at 50 (important word in that sentence was NOW). Nice return. Is it better than T-Bills? This isn't ugly...

yet.
:)

Is it just the speed of this fall? Are you shocked of the sudden reverals (up then down)? Greenspan must be loving this.
