I thought the bullish position was that CSCO, and other techs, were immune to interest rate hikes?

Frank, it is the lowering to save his cronies that caused the bubble. No one had to buy into it and if they did they should not have become greedy. Not necessarily a fan of his but I sure wouldn't blame him for peoples greed.

<Greenspan has betrayed the President's Trust and should be forcibly removed from office!! Everyone is Stunned by Greenspan's public disgrace and abuse.>

You should be ashamed of yourself writting this drivel... Greenspan has been trying to warn you of this for years. Get lost if your serious.

What makes you think that Greenspan has betrayed the President's trust? Clinton knew exactly what Greenspan's intentions were when he rushed to reappoint him--higher interest rates leading to economic slowdown, maybe even a recession, which would antagonize voters, leading to a defeat for, hmmm, let's see now---Al Gore! So that means that a Democrat will have a crack at the White House in four years instead of eight, and who might that Democrat be?
You know who. The Senator from New York.

Just lurking,

Trish
