always, ALWAYS trade opposite to LEH's recommendations. they are among the biggest most brazen crooks around. they issued strong buys on VERT when it was near its all-time high and sold their entire position into the upgrade. later on they claimed that their analysts and proprietary trading desk were operating at arms length from each other. yeah, right. they also downgraded gold stocks just as they made a big upside break-out recently. i'm almost certain they were buying either for themselves or for favored clients. i have made it my hobby to watch their recos and how they're doing afterwards. of course they're not the only WS firm doing this, but the VERT story is an especially glaring example of the abuse going on, as many people have lost a fortune buying on their recommendation into which they themselves were selling. crooks...WS is run by crooks...never forget that.
