My point is that the rise in inflation we have seen in recent months is due to the first, second, and third order effects of rising oil prices. When the price of oil drops, so will inflation.

Of course AG will get credit for it when it happens.

Oil price goes up, inflation goes up. Fairly simple. Except that Oil price increase is more like a *Foreign* tax which will decrease economic activity.

So, what does AG do when we get Oil price increase inflation? -- Raise rates. What else would the dodo do?
