Clarification:

I think probablility of unknown customer is as follows:
GTE .5%
SBC 99.5%

Everyone seems to know that WSTL shipping to PacBell. Now, GTE may come later if WSTL can be second source. ORCT / Fujitsu America are the primary vendor. That may change when GTE and BEL finish merger. If BEL has upper hand, WSTL and ALA would both probably become more prominent at GTE. It is still a mystery to me why GTE chose ORCT. I think Fujitsu/ ORCT product handled something better peculiar to GTE's current setup(??? maybe something to do with frame relay?? was long ago.

WSTL currently won award for TAP products which is the old stuff but last year they won a big contract from GTE for several years to sustain the TAP business.

That's it for now. I am going to try and did up some stuff on the VoDSl stuff WSTL was working on with that Israeli company. Maybe they had crack at TI chips before ALA per the TI/AMTX strategic agreement years ago.
