A break up of MS doesn't concern me near as much as possible punitive damages for the states... All this just adds to the snowball effect we hare having in the markets. Jim, While I agree that lawyers will get rich off this case, I honestly don't believe that this is the problem; maybe for MSFT shares but not for the markets in general. I think there is uncertainity over how much the feds will raise rates and whether a recession is in the offing. This breeds fears and there are those who are fanning the fear. Until this is resolved one way or another, I think the markets will be in turmoil....unfortunately. ted
