Sorry Yogi, but my field was adolescent psychology, and if you think asserting that a child needs a parent at a time of crisis is emotional excess, you're speaking out of ignorance. There's nothing emotional about it- no boohoos, sobsobs. It's a fact. I don't buy into your "logic" that it is healthy for this child to live with a bunch of emotional wrecks like the Miami relatives and that being an American somehow makes every other argument moot. By the way,emotional is what you get when you start up with this "I'm ashamed to be an American" act and start calling the rest of us "mind-numbed robots" and telling us we make you sick. That, my dear, is emotional rhetoric at its most obvious.
