X,
It is strange that you pick out the people of the Bible to castigate for killing those who have committed crimes in the eyes of God but, you say nothing of the Scythians, Mongols, Ancient Greeks, Romans, African tribes, Vikings, Nazis, or anyone else. Isn't that a bit narrow minded in condemnation?? It sounds as if you condone their actions but abhor those of Christians. Actually, all of the harsh punishment in the Bible was carried out by the early Hebrews, the Egyptians, and the Babylonians. The only harsh punishment found in the New Testament was done by the Romans.Jesus, Himself, stopped the practice of stoning harlots and adulterers. ~H~
