with the idea of short term buy signals ringing keep the following idea in mind also: from 1550 down for A up to end of April finishes "B" C is ending diagonal(OH GOD,NOT AGAIN!!)and from 5/16 3 of C started, ....an ending diagonal would keep the SPX decline more moderate as the NAZ slams lower...doesn't have to be, but something to keep an eye on if all this occurs it will make sense for NAZ spike to have been wave 3 as SP was making its wave 3.....and I am guessing that when 4 is complete that the NAZ 5 will fail as the others make new highs......though I can see 12,200-12,400 on DOW, I will not be at all surprised to see it run to its very long term trend top of 13,000ish? This would probably complete a very bullish 5 waver from 1987 crash.....which I believe is probably the 3rd cycle wave up from 1970's sideways(maybe--maybe not, doesn't really matter as long as your short at the top with 15 minutes!!!) if it does happen to be the end of a Cycle 3 type wave it makes sense and fits the profil of a big wave 3........ with all the optimism, raging economy,new pair-of-dimes talk, excellent earnings, broad participation, glue sniffing optimists bring out the bong and start smoking it HIGHER<HIGHER<HIGHER, ITS DIFFERENT THIS TIME, "See they lied, to us...this glue ain't bad for you, so lets try SHOOTING IT IN OUR OPTIC NERVE,,,YEAH!!" its all right there bundled up to see, right there on your chart as the powerhouse 3of3 roared from 1994 consolidation thru 1998......then the 'breather' 4th that turned ugly because of Asia,Russia,Clinton,LTCM and the other EXCUSES as some doubt set in.....followed by the early excitement of a 5th wave that narrowed in participation and has apparently 'morphed' into an ending diagonal....what a picture, what a story, what a narration!! Hi Bagboy, My dad just gave me my allowance(not a bad deal for a 47 year old HEHEHE).Do you think if I ran over to walmart and bought up some fresh glue,we could turn this market around.Meet you out by the dumpster behind Walmart.I'll bring my palm(for quotes),fresh glue and Ohio blue tip matches.We'll wait for a capitulation vix spike and then light up. P.S. just came from the head shop and got a NewNaz Bong complete with ice chamber!!!! No Bogarts allowed Bob If that dumpster still stinks like it usually does even stinky could come. Futures looks like glueheads are starting without us - I hate it when that happens.
