I have a bad feeling about my situation right now & I am seriously seeking some Info about personal bankruptcy! My questions are 1. what happens to my house? Which is owned by me but I lease the property. It is similar to a trailer park but it is a modular home! 3 Bedrooms 2 baths central air dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer corner lot etc.! What should I do about the money I have in the stock market so i don't lose that! and what about the $11,000.00 in our joint savings account? Will we lose that or is there a way to bypass that? I have a loan on the house with a balance of $18,000.00(3rd time refinanced) Appraised at $74,000.00. I owe about $43,000.00 in credit card debt! I got laid off 2/2/99 after 22 years service! I am now 60 years old & can not get a job paying 1/2 of what I was making! What are my options? Thank you in advance to anyone who has any knowledge or experience with my situation! god bless you all!
