i would argue that a true stress test for the system is highly likely to occur at some point. That is the nature of things; the next big test is always around the corner <g>. Agreed on all points, though in telecoms I would stress a distinction between the huge cash-flow rich companies (WCOM e.g.) and the smaller upstarts. All are expanding massively, but some are better equipped than others to withstand the ramifications of poor investment choices.
