FWIW, it seems like desperation is setting in... a feeling that 3000 is gone... like it's a given. I wouldn't say panic, and my opinion is that there isn't going to be. This sell off has been to methodical to get "panic". I think we may very well continue to slowly bleed this market down.. but I also believe that by 2500 (hope not that low but it's possible) that money will come back in. There are number of factors that could casue this. Fed comments/action in June, earnings (now that valuations are low earnings could raise awareness to the low valuations), instutional investors rushing in to buy/hold up positions. I think the short squeeze is insignificant since short ratios are shrinking - not growing. I take this as a sign that the shorts are losing some conviction - believe that buyers will come in. Shorts will start covering and going long and with it the buyers will come in.

I think we may see more blood but it's mice nuts compared to the ride from 5000 to 3000. Another 500 is chump change. Time to start thinking about your buys - what is it you always wanted to own????? Make your lists now ladies and gentlemen!
