HJ, There are a lot of bank stocks that are 50% or more below their highs, and these have great earnings and dividends. So the carnage is not confined to the silly stocks, only. Actually the dotcom woes can be summarised by showing HHH. introduced by HB at 100 a year ago, high over 190, and now at 105. I really wonder who are the people who buy at the highs ? usually those are the highest volume days, too. I don't think the bulls are that stupid. It must the shorts covering.
