Bill. Ned Riley. One of the worst ones around IMO. I can't remember last time he really liked the market. Maybe I just never saw him when he was bullish.

Yes. That's what I heard from Bob Pisani. Some of the bulls supposedly are crying: Give us a correction so we can go up again. Give us 2900, 2700, 2500 or whatever, just give us a correction. I really think that those guys need to see a shrink. But they have us over a barrel. They have investors money inflow, they don't invest it and even sell some more. I can't remember where Ned Riley is from, but if it is BAC, I think it was those guys that went yesterday or today from 75% invested to 70%. I am not positive right now who changed their allocation. I was just too busy today to keep a good eye on the market. They will manage to drive the market down to unbelievable levels unless some of those fund managers and houses wake up and buy big time. But then why would they. As further down it goes the cheaper they can buy.
When asked last night if it was time to nibble, McCabe and another brokerage guy thought we were close to the end of the correction. Of course, things change daily depending which way the market moves. I can do that.
I am at the point that I could kick myself for not having sold when the FED first started to raise rates. It's just too hard to fight the FED and the houses. It's like Vegas. The house always wins. Well, I went from NAZ 5100 to here, so I guess what's a cpl hundred points more. Sigh. But the minute I would throw in the towel, things would turn around the same day and never look back. Even though I don't think this scenario will happen this time. Sure hope it does not go down to 2500. Over a 50% correction with a good economy and good earnings. I still can't believe that the FED is striving to make sure that our cos. earn less. If that's the goal why go on TV and hype the China deal. The FED has to be after business earnings if they want the market to stay down.

I had some great losers in the net sector. VRSN for instance inked a lot of deals yesterday and today and whack. Down 10. And so it went, including Intel.

And Globex is already down again.

Bill. Here is an article on the Semis. It shows you what's going on. This is an irrational exuberance sell off. All because we had revision from 146 to 142 for every 100 sold. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
