I think the bulls are not buying because they are despondent about the continual sell-offs. The last 5 days of NAS declines (on no news) are a crushing blow their morale.

That said, today's 200 point decline looks as if the gloom has become a bit overdone for the time being, and I wouldn't be surprised by a rally tomorrow.

I suspect some of the money that has come out of tech in the last few months has gone to repay margin debt.

I see your discussion of risk did not go over real big with the new economy winners.
