LOL! yep, it wasn't easy to be a bear in the mania...since i only joined SI in March '99 (a committed bull at the time as it were) i can only guess for how long you've been bearish... anyway, every time i hear, or consider the term 'oversold' i quickly take a peek at an LT Nikkei chart or a chart from 24-37....
