If your breaking the law you should be arrested, with or without force (I'd leave it at the discretion of the local officials).

If your analogy were accurate someone should be in jail about now. Instead all we have are recriminations and weak lawsuits.

In the Elian case, however, the government is trying to reunite a family.

Do you really believe that Clinton cares about a 6 year old Cuban boy? What's really going on is hidden. It's been speculated in the press that Fidel has been blackmailing Clinton. The story goes that Castro would revisit the situation in 1980 when he allowed a large number of Cubans (some were criminals and mental patients) to emigrate to the US. Time will tell what's really going...
