tekboy: Again Mike will speak for himself, but music has charm - digging into the fiberoptic technology is an "acquired taste" and is most useful if the intent is to use that knowledge for investment purposes.

Wagner is an acquired taste for some perhaps, but not at all comparable - the beauty is there even though understanding the complications add to that beauty.

Re: Your footnote (the only excuse, and a weak one at that) for this post. Eric L and I have carried on the discussions you cite on both the Q 500 and Nokia threads and as usual I have learned much from him.

Best.

Tek,

<< PS Cha2, out of curiosity, did you and Eric feel sort of jealous when DS and buck and all were going at it? I was waiting for the two of you to jump in and start shouting them down with a blizzard of "2.4EDGEGPRSGSMDDI vs WXYZ123CDMA2005" posts... :0) >>

LOL!

Cha2 and I are just sitting back in awe struck wonder enjoying the show. <g>

One thing that DS & Buck have convinced me of, is that my decision to hold both EMC & NTAP is a sound one. Going back a year or so I held EMC on the grounds that it was the King of Storage. DownSouth, convinced me over a period of time that NTAP was King of one distinct sector of storage, and that EMC was King in its respective sector. Consequently I am now invested in both. I did not fund my position in NTAP out of EMC, but instead created an equal position in NTAP.

I read both the EMC thread, and the NTAP thread, (contributing little to both) and thoroughly enjoy and benefit from the discussion Buck & DS are engaged in here.

How do you spell fiber?
