Not interested: For all the noise light heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr. is making about wanting to fight Lennox Lewis, the heavyweight champion has been silent. ''He's never taken it seriously,'' says Donald Tremblay, spokesman for Lewis' co-promoter, Main Events. ''If we made that fight we ought to be arrested on a murder charge.''

More Moorer: Ex-heavyweight champ Michael Moorer, inactive since losing his IBF title via an eighth-round KO to Evander Holyfield in their rematch Nov. 8, 1997, is coming back. He'll will fight June 25 in Gary, Ind. No opponent has been named. Moorer has been training at Kronk Gym in Detroit.
