"Five years down the road I think our core business today, which is the micro-processor chips, will still be the biggest part of our business," Intel Corp's president and chief executive officer Craig Barrett told a news conference in Manila. It said clients were expected to range from oil company BP Amoco Plc to the English-language Web site for this year's Tour de France bicycle race. Intel Online Services said the 100,000 square foot data centre was the company's largest in the world and could hold up to 10,000 servers. "As many as 250 people will be employed at the data centre when the facility is fully built," it said. Intel has two similar centres in the United States and one in South Korea.
