Ah, cuttin' to the quick...:)

OK, I'm going to say it directly. I like Hamed. I like his weird style and his ability to throw off balance, strangely balanced punches as well as direct power shots.

But, in this match, I'm going to go with Tapia. I don't think Hamed would be ready for Johnny's constant barrage and tireless approach. When I think of the term "generalship" to describe boxers in the ring, Tapia is right up there with a few of my favorites, like Vargas, Tyson, and Gatti.

I also think that in this one, brute force negates the unique and sometimes disorienting style of the Prince. And, that age and experience would be markedly on the side of JT.

So, in a Hamed-Tapia fight, I'll take Johnny Tapia. For now I'll say Johnny by decision OR a late round KO, but I'll fine tune that call before the fight.

And you, MM? The Prince or Tapia?
