Chung Lee,

Micron is also now selling their PCs at retail. It should only be a short time before they adopt the Athlon. This may not happen until they get their Samurai for Athlon out, but it will help boost the Athlon retial numbers, and get Athlon into the corporate space.

Pravin.

Re: I clicked over to circuitcity.com....

I don't think that is any attempt at reflecting what is available in the stores, instead, I think it is last Sunday's ad, which can only feature a few of the machines available. They could be the best sellers, they could be dead stock that the company is desperate to move, it could just reflect what they are being encouraged to advertise by Intel and AMD (who reimburse most of the advertising costs).

It's still neat to see that all of the high end machines are from AMD. It's good for building the brand.

Regards,

Dan

Chung - RE: "I clicked over to circuitcity.com site, it lists 16 desktop PCs, I don't know if thier physical store carry the same line now."

The website carries 6 of the top 7 selling PCs in April, so the physical store probably carries the same models as the website.

"I think AMD is represented quite well here, where are the Athlon 650,700,750?"

I guess OEMs want Intel in the mid range. AMD has already killed off the 600 and 650, so that may be another reason.
