More "values" (I do not currently own any of these stocks, but have all of them on my watch list and plan to buy on signs of strength):

KLIC: trading at 43 7/8, estimated FY2000 EPS 3.55, P/E 12.4, estimated five-year growth rate 18.2 percent, PEG 0.68. (On Yahoo: ELEC-MANUF.MACH sector P/E 28.7, comparable PEG 1.12.)

FILE: trading at 19 3/4, estimated FY2000 EPS 0.97, P/E 20.4, estimated five-year growth rate 24.6 percent, PEG 0.83. (On Yahoo: COMP-SOFTWARE sector average P/E 112.8, comparable PEG 3.53.)

MIPS: trading at 19 3/4, estimated FY2000 EPS 0.68, P/E 29.0, estimated five-year growth rate 45.5 percent, PEG 0.64. (On Yahoo: ELEC COMP-SEMI sector average P/E 48.6, comparable PEG 1.56.) Be very careful with this one short term: SGI recently announced that it will complete the long-awaited spinoff of its MIPS holdings, 65 percent of the company. This will put $25 million Class B shares into circulation. I think the selloff on this news is going to present a good opportunity to accumulate prior to the fall U.S. and European release of Playstation II, which licenses MIPS technology.

LRCX.. I know there are more but I didn't want to post all of them because in too large a forest you can't make out any of the trees. On any rally, ironically, I'd look to BOTH the 'discounted' stocks and the blimps because the blimps do move up on rallies. They also get sold into those same rallies which can last anywhere from 1 hour to 8 sessions. Now these blimps are NOT NECESSARILY leaders they might be among the top 25, so investors think these are the ones to hold long term. But among the top 25, you can find leaders with lower valuations.
