Umm... Well, if you're on a budget mozek, there's an intel version and you could always do mySQL or one of the other freeware databases. --- I think you'd just be skating right into that stick, Mike. <g> -JCJ Edit: It wouldn't be your fault though. It's pretty foggy up that way, these days.

BTW, two things: Have you used StarOffice yet? I'd recommend you download it, install it (and the Java SDK - nyuk nyuk) before dismissing it out of hand that way. As a shareholder you should ask yourself sincerly how many 'seats' the free (read: free) StarOffice could potentially cost the not free Office (which is 40% of MSFT revenue?). --- Regarding the 'support' thing, wha?? Are you saying that NT comes with a whole wad of handholding? The online documentation (SGML DocBook) and other online resource for Solaris specifically and Unix in general is huge. Your guys recently made moves to CONTRACT (shrink) the available Windows support by VOLUNTEERS, in order to increase support revenue, AND has significantly raised it's incident charges. Did you not know that? I really don't get what you're saying there. -JCJ
