Mr. Miller believes the applications of the technology are so
broad that one of his most important jobs as CEO is to keep
his engineers focused on the most promising aspect "and not
be all over the map."

Listening to Larry Ellison CEO of Oracle

He is describing what wireless phones will be doing in the future and predicting that these phones will be numbering over 1 billion within 4 years.
The Internet capability of these phones, I think, will require focused and compact Internet surfing.
This seems to be something that MMI/Thoughtshare will participate in, as Thoughtshare's tech will allow focused Internet viewing.

Listening to Larry Ellison CEO of Oracle (part 2)

So what does this mean for MMI/Thoughtshare?

Let us assume that the TS tech becomes the standard for wireless Internet data transmittal and surfing.

(this is my post so I can assume what I want)

Let us assume that TS licensees its software and charges $1 (one dollar) per unit per month or $12/yr/unit subscription fee.
And since TS is the "standard" it will have almost 100 % penetration in the new Internet phones

Here is the math

Larry Ellison's 1 billion Internet phone users * $12/yr/unit
= $12 billion/yr. revenue to MMI/TS
How will the market discount THAT repeating revenue stream?
How will the market discount the other uses for this tech?

Here is a hint

Microsoft has revenues est of $23 billion and they are growing at about 22%. MSFT has a maket cap of $480 billion

Feel free to take pot shots

I wet my pants whenever I think about this. <g>
