ted, sounds like they speak of die shrink and larger wafers as the doubling mechanisms. Well many are treading that path and their new plant in 18 months to 2 years could easily open into a global glut. Flash has done this before.
However with a everyone quadrupling their output as well as the integration of flash patches on other chips cutting the need for flash in some small sized areas and new plants they may all be chasing the same sockets.

Will the cel/cam boom level off? These booms never go to infinity...we do not end up in terrains made of chips, so I have to believe a flat top will start to appear sooner or later. When is the critical question. If it comes in 5 years all is well. If next year all those flash plants will open into excess capacity.
