So whatever happened to the S & P 500? The SPYs corrected to a year low of 132.75. This did not happen yesterday but in March. It closed yesterday at 138.

So what about the Naz? Why has it got the crap taken out of it. I think one must ignore the mania that started in November. It was an anomoly. Forget about the crazy rise and it all makes sense. We have reversed back to the 1998 uptrend line. The Naz is where it is now as it was in November. Same goes for the S & P 500. All this can be explained by the word: "rotation" -- how else can one explain a higher S & P 500 now than in March and a lower Naz?

So for those calling for Naz 2000, one must assume the S & P 500 is going to crater as well. I don't think it is in the cards yet. If one looks to 1994, you would get rallies and corrections based upon what the Fed. did just as we do now.

The Fed. created a correction in their harsh language and discount move. Hey, that is what they wanted and they got it. Good for them. But they don't want to kill the economy. They would have to have run-away inflation to want to kill the economy. We don't see that now.
