The King James version... "Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine." Everybody knows he favored the Israelites, but he instructed them to kill other nationalities. Did he love them too? And BTW I am not an Israelite, and I presume that you aren't either. And is it raisin cakes, or wine? If scholars can't agree on what the Bible says, how can you or I? And if there was a God, why would he want the writings about him so difficult to understand? Instead of the Bible, how about a light show in the sky to get my attention or something? Del
