How about "Fear of the Lord, means you've got a stinky creator" WHY would you want to worship something you were afraid of? I mean as an educated, and civilized person. I can understand why a savage would want to placate a universe that seemed hostile, whimsically dangerous, and amazingly powerful. I wouldn't want a GOVERNEMNT that acted like God, so I surely wouldn't want a creator that acted like that. And yet, some people are fond of that old testament God. Perhaps it's the savage in us. I'm not very savage at all- maybe that's why I don't get the message.
