I agree that MAs are a psychological barrier, but on occasion a MA or trendline channel does coincide with a range of valuations that actually make sense. By "make sense" I mean if you calculate the money people expect the company to pay back to shareholders over time, you can fairly justify the range of prices represented within the trendlines.

You can't say that about many of the companies on NASDAQ, not with any kind of historically reasonable assumptions anyway.
